Popular Books I Have Not Read Read 2.0

Since I finally read most of the books on my last popular books/series I have not read yet I thought I would do another one of these. I plan on reading most of these this year. I am not including sequels to popular series I have started because that would make this post even longer.

The first on I have to talk about is Renegades by Marissa Meyer and I have no idea why I have not read this book yet. The Lunar Chronicles is one of my all time favorite series and I also loved Heartless. I even owned a signed copy of the book. The cover of the book gives me super hero vibes. In this book the Renegades have powers and they use it for the good while the Anarchists have powers that are not good? I have no idea but it is something along those lines but I do know that the main character Nova is an Anarchist who hates the Renegades.



The next book is more of an older release and that is I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson. This book is about twins that use to be very close and are no longer very close. We follow both their point of views. I think one of them takes place when they were practically best friends and the other takes place in the future when they no longer see each other. I am not sure but the concept sounds cool and I heard great things about this book and I think I am going to like it a lot.

I heard about this book so much but I still have no idea what it is about. That book is The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson, the first book in the Mistborn series. I heard nothing but great things about this book and practically every fantasy lover has read it. Fantasy is my favorite genre and I still have not read it. It may be because it is intimidating. I mean there are many books in the series. I do want to read it this year and I hope I do.



On my last list I said I have not read Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Lani Taylor yet and I still have not. However I am going to read it in March. The next book is another one by Lani Taylor and that is Strange the Dreamer. The cover is gorgeous, both the UK and US, and the concept sounds cool. The main character is really interested in this mysterious city that vanished called Weep and wants to discover what happened to the city. I heard nothing but great things about this book and I saw it made a lot of people's favorite books of 2017 list.



Another book I have not read yet is The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzie Lee and I honestly had very little interest in it. However due to everyone talking about it and the cover reveal for the sequel or companion (not sure) the book is starting to peak my interest. I know we have a diverse cast of characters. The main character Monty I believe likes his best friend Percy. I also know he, Percy, and Monty's sister Felicity are together traveling together or something like that. I don't know but it is a historical fiction that everyone says is good. I also heard this book has some laugh out loud moments. Just writing this post makes me want to pick it up now.


The next book I am talking about is one that I am iffy on reading. I don't know whether or not I will pick it up because I think this book is a you love it or you hate it and that is Nevernight by Jay Kristoff. I have read Illuminae which he co wrote with Amie Kaufman and I did not enjoy it at all. I want to give this book a chance but I am not that interested in it. I do not know why I am not interested in it I just am not. Maybe I will read it. Maybe I won't. Right now is a nope though. Feel free to try to convince me to read it though because I have been swaying back and forth between want to read and not wanting to read it.
