This review like the other four are going to be all over the place. It is also a reread.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the longest book in the series with over 800 pages.

Now before anyone asks yes I hate Umbridge more than Voldemort. Let's just start of the review by talking about Umbridge. Umbridge is the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts and later becomes the High Inquisitor and Headmistress. Umbridge suck. Even the teachers hate her. My favourite part of the entire book was when Fred and George set off the fireworks and when they created a swamp. I always forget about the swamp. Anyway Fred and George are like Hogwarts heroes now. The Fireworks an swamp drive Umbridge crazy. Even she (Umbridge cannot get rid of the swamp so it's sits there most of the book.) I loved Harry, Ron and Hermione kind of knew that Professor Flitwick and McGonagall would be able to get rid of the swamp and Flitwick did in to seconds after Umbridge left and even left a bit of the swamp as sort of a token of Fred and George's grand escape.

Peeves also obey's the twin's orders to give Umbrige hell. It says in the book that Peeves never took an order from a student before. This proves that even Peeves hate Umbridge.

Okay back to the beginning of the story. Harry is basically kept in the dark about all the information in the Wizarding world. He hates it. He eventually gets trapped by Dementors along side his cousin Dudley, produces a protronus, we all know what happens and now he has to go to a hearing.

Harry is rescued from Private Drive by a group from the Order of the Phoenix and is taken to Sirius's home. There he sees the Weasley Family again and Sirius as well and catches up on whats going on. Fudge is and idiot. Why would Dumbledore take over the Ministry of Magic. He loves his job as Headmaster and if he wanted to be the Minister of Magic he would of taken the position before Fudge.

In #12 Grimmauld place we learn that Sirius owns a House Elf named Kreacher. Hermione of course hates the way they treat Kreacher. Kreacher plays a major part in the story. If Kreacher would of simply told Harry the truth that Sirius was still at his house, Sirius would of still been alive. If Kreacher never told people vital information, Sirius may of still been alive. It is crazy to think how one minor character can have such a big influence on what happens in the books. Take Cho's friend for example. She rats out Dumbledore's army. If she didn't there is a chance that Dumbledore would of never let the school. One thing is still clear though and that is if none of this happened it is still very possible that Fudge thinks that Voldemort is still not back.

Ron joins the Quidditch team and most people think he sucks. Harry, Fred, and George got banned from playing Quidditch. Now here is the thing, it makes no sense that Fred got banned from playing. George and Harry attacked Malfoy and I can see it but Fred did nothing. He tried to but people held him back but he didn't even touch Malfoy so he did nothing wrong. Therefore it proves the point that Umbridge is a big jerk. Okay IF he called Malfoy bad names it is wrong but during Quidditch people call each other foul names all the time. Ron helps Griffindor win the final game and Harry and Hermione miss it because they were meeting Grawp.

Hagrid wasn't teaching in the beginning of the story and the trio had no idea where he is. Later they discover he was on a mission to befriend giants with Madame Maxine. Of course things went wrong. Hagrid and Madame Maxine are all okay though.

Firenze is a centaur that now teaches at Hogwarts and is banned from his herd. Umbridge who hates half breeds of course hates him. This is something we don't see in the movie. Anyway after class he tells Harry to tell Hagrid something that makes no sense to Harry but he tells Hagrid anyway. Hagrid chooses to ignore the warning. Harry, Hermione, and later Ron, learn that Hargrid took Grawp to the forest. A giant and his half brother which will later give Hermione the idea to tell Umbridge that Dumbledore's secret weapon is in the forest.

This is the book where my all time favourite Harry Potter character is introduced. Luna Lovegood. This is also the book where Dumbledore's Army forms. I feel like Harry is a fantastic Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher and of course along with Ron and Harry, I was a bit surprised it was Hermione to have suggested the idea. Many people join Dumbledore's army and learn many defensive skills and all sorts of jinxes which they would use on Malfoy and his gang at the end of the book on the train.

Harry is having dreams associated with Voldemort and now has to take occlumency with Snape and learns that his father and Sirius use to bully him. I am pretty sure that Harry was not expecting that at all. Even his mother hated James at that time. During Christmas time Harry dreams that Arthur Wealsey was attacked by a snake and sure enough he was. Arthur goes to St. Mungo's hospital and is expected and does survive. I love that Arthur allowed the doctor to use stitches on him. When visiting Mr. Wealsey we learn that Neville's parents are still alive but are not the same after being tortured by Bellatrix Lestrange and Lockhart is there as well and still thinks he is famous and offering them his autograph.

Harry's eventually dreams that Sirius is being tortured and manages to go to the Ministry of Magic with the help of some of the members of Dumbledore's army. This part of the story is a lot different. The doors rotate, Ron is attacked by brains and it was just Harry and Neville, the two possible chosen ones against the Death Eaters. Hermione was attacked as well as Luna and Ginny broke her ankle. The scene just felt more action packed.

O.W.L.S are taken by all fifth years and we actually get a bit more of an inside of what goes on during the tests. Harry did very well in his O.W.L.S in Defense Against the Dark Arts and to no one's surprise probably failed Divination and History Of Magic. I loved it when Ron said that he was describing a man in the crystal ball only to look up an see he was describing the man grading him.

The Super Scary Book Tag

Today I will be doing the Super Scary Book Tag. This tag is created by Clever Fox. I am super excited to do this tag! I made a deal with myself that I would only use Harry Potter for 1 question!

1. What goes bump in the night? Name a book that has legitimately scared you while reading it.
The first book that came into my head is the Diviners by Libba Bray. I have only read the first 2 books but I really enjoyed both of them. The third one also recently came out. The Diviners is not scary but it is creepy and I didn't want to put it down.

 2. Jack O Lanterns and Classic Costumes: A book you always reach for during Halloween time. 
I don't actually read a certain book during the Halloween time but I do reach for a certain genres. I tent to ready mysteries, books with paranormal creatures (including witches), any book with a Halloween vibe.

3. Black Cats and Magic Mirrors: A book you love that is laced with superstition and/or magic. 
The first book I thought of is actually A Darker Shade o Magic by V.E. Schwab. I read the first two books in the trilogy this year and both of them are on my all time favourite books ever list. I cannot recommend them enough.

4. Witch’s Brew: Favorite witch character in any book/series. 
For this question I chose my favourite Harry Potter character who is Luna Lovegood. I love her personality. Another one of my favourite witch characters will have to be Manon Blackbeak  from the Throne of Glass series.

5. Ghouls and Ghosts: A book that still haunts you to this day (good or bad).
No book has ever haunted me. I have read creepy books but they did not really haunt me. I will also say that I do not like most books I read for school since reading it for school takes the fun out of reading so I guess those books kind of haunt me. I always remember them.

6. Haunted Graveyard: You’re all alone in a haunted graveyard, you get ONE book to give you comfort, which is it? 
For this question I am going with Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare. I love this trilogy and even though Clockwork Princess is my favourite in the trilogy I would rather take Clockwork Angel with me because it is the first book. I love the characters and the story and I think it can help me keep my mind off the haunted graveyard.

7. The Undead: Favorite supernatural creatures to read about (i.e. vamps, zombies, werewolves, etc).
Thinking about it I honestly have to say vampires. I actually never read Twilight for your information but I have read other Vampire books that I really enjoyed such as Vampire Academy.

8. In the dead of night: Pick a book with a black cover.
I think I will choose Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Lani Taylor for this question. I haven't read this book yet and in fact I don't really know what it is about. It just seems like a good Halloween read because I heard something about monsters?. Are there monsters in it, I honestly have no idea.

 9. Trick or Treat? 
I honestly prefer treats. I am also not a prankster.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Review

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is my favourite Harry Potter book and movie in the series. I absolutely love this book. I think what makes me love it so much is that it features two other magical schools other than Hogwarts and the Quidditch world cup.

Unlike the movie we start off with Harry staying in Private Drive. (Both start at the riddle house but we are skipping that part. His scar also hurted and he sent a letter to Sirius.) Mrs. Weasley write him a letter inviting him to go the world cup with them. She of course uses many stamps. I wish the movie kept this scene because I loved it. It was so funny and Uncle Vernon's reaction was exactly how I expected to be. They also rescue or retrieved Harry by using Floo power. Of course the fire place had to be blocked and 4 Weasleys were stuck in a fire place. It was hilarious. I loved when Fred and George dropped the tongue taffy for Dudley as well and I felt like he (Dudley) deserved it.

The Quidditch world cup is such an amazing scene. We see so many witched and wizards from all over the world and I loved it. Now thinking about this might be Harry's first Quidditch game he has ever watched because he always plays on the house team. The Malfoys are also there and we meet Winky Mr. Crouch's house elf. Winky is found holding Harry's wand and is released. Unlike Dobby, Winky hates freedom. Speaking of house elves. Hermione starts S.P.E.W which Harry and Ron call spew. I also call it spew since it is easier to say than S.P.E.W. Sorry Hermione. I wish S.P.E.W. made it into the movies and I wish be did get to see Dobby like we did in the books. Yes Dobby is back. I really like Dobby and he is one of my favourite characters in the series. I love Dobby and his socks. I find it funny how Dobby thinks socks are not suppose to match!

The trio will learn when they arrive at Hogwarts that Hogwarts is hosting the Tri-Wizard Tournament. The two other schools that are participating are Durmstrang and Beauxbaton's Academy of Magic. Three champions are chosen by the Goblet of those students age 17+ and the champions were Krum (a famous seeker Ron admires) Fleur, Cedric and Harry. Now the thing I found surprising is that they still allowed Harry to compete. I feel like this is serious matter and they should of used the truth potion on Harry to prove he did not put his name in the Goblet of Fire because many people didn't believe him. At least Dumbledore did. I know that there are strict laws on the potion but it is a serious matter. Even though there was a contract I felt like they should of made an exception. Lets also say that truth potion does not work and that Fred and george tried it and ended up growing beards and never try to fool Dumbledore.

One thing I love about Harry Potter is the small details that make the story more fun and exciting. The little things that we forget about until we reread the book that make you smile. Like at the end when Mrs. Wealsey hugs Harry and comforts him like his own mother would. Yes I did tear up.

Back to the tasks. So we learn that the champions have to pass three dangerous tasks.
1) Dragons
2) The lake/merpeople
3) A maze

Now my favourite task to read about would have to be The Lake task. It was fun reading about. 3/4 of the people meant a lot to Harry which I found surprising. I expected Krum's most missed person not to be Hermione the first time I read it. Also I find it cute that Dobby calls Ron Wheezy.

The Yule ball was also an interesting scene to read about. Ron and his dress robes. LOVE that scene. It is hilarious.

At the end of the book we learn that the Cup is a porkey, Cedric is killed and Voldemort has returned. Moody is not actually Moody but Barty Crouch Jr. and Harry's name was not put into the cup my accident. So much happened at the end that it takes me a lot of time to process.

Harry gives Fred and George his prize money to start their Joke shop and I cannot wait till book 6 when they actually open the shop.

Those are just some of my thoughts and I may add more to this review the third time I read it.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Spoiler Review

Like my other two Harry Potter reviews this review will have unmarked spoilers. I recommend reading the entire series before watching this review because it is possible that I will accidentally write a spoiler for a future book.


Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban has always been my least favourite in the series and I honestly have no idea why.

Just to let you know this review will be all over the place and won't be in chronological order.

One of my favourite things in the magical universe is Quidditch. In this book we get a lot of Quidditch scenes and I loved it! Of course we all know that Sirius Black is on the loose and the dementors are stationed outside of Hogwarts. They appear during the game against Hufflepuff and Hufflepuff wins because Harry fell off his broom. Harry wakes up in the hospital wing to learn that they had lost and that Wood is probably still in the showers and they think he is trying to drown himself. We also learned that out of all the places Harry's broom could of landed it landed in the whomping willow and broke. To be honest I was sad that Harry's broom broke. It was the broom that Harry had to show off to Malfoy and it was the broom that Harry caught his first snitch on so it is very important. Sirius (they don't know at that time) sent him a Firebolt and Hermione just has to tell McGonagall about the broom. Harry and Ron get mad at her. Even though both characters were mad at her I felt like Hermione did the right thing because it is better to have your friends safe and be mad at you than having them die. Also let's just say that Lee Jordan has the best commentary.

Speaking of Hermione she also is taking so many classes. Harry and Ron eventually start to notice something funny is going on with her schedule and how she ended up one place and then the next a second later. I was not surprised that she of course was taking every class available because classic Hermione. I feel like if she wasn't in Gryffindor she would of 100% of been Ravenclaw. Hermione is also my favourite character in the trio.

Now we are jumping back to the beginning. Harry receives his Hogwart letter containing his Hogsmeade permission slip and of course getting his Aunt and Uncle to sign it will be hard. He end up with an agreement to be nice to Aunt Marge and act like a muggle and Uncle Vernon would sign it. Now that lady is a jerk. I honestly hated her more than the Dursleys. She was just terrible. Now Umbridge is worse don't get me wrong but she was very rude. Eventually she insults Harry's parents and Harry accidentally blew her up and he thinks he is going to get expelled. He then packs up to leave Private Drive and we get to the iconic Night Bus scene. This scene I feel like is the most well known scene in the book. I mean it is on the cover of the illustrated edition.

Harry ends up meeting Fudge in the Leaky Cauldron and learns he is not getting expelled and he got away from the Dursleys for a few extra weeks.

Now on the train to Hogwarts we have the first appearance of the worst, in my opinion, magical creature, a dementor. Unlike Ron and Hermione Harry passed out but he was lucky to be in the compartment with Lupin who is obviously the best Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. I mean he knows what he is doing and is actually teaching the students something.

Lupin eventually teaches Harry the patronus charm and I love that scene. It is such a memorable moment for Harry and the patronus charm is one of the hardest charms to produce according to Lupin. Even Hermione says it. Now in the movies the patronus' look like white globs but in the book they are animals so sometimes it is hard for me to remember that patronus' are not white globs.

Sirius Black is on the loose and one thing we noticed is that Ron's rat is acting kind of funky. He seems to try to fake his own death and run away from Ron and is loosing weight. Now even though Ron acts like he hates Scabbers, he secretly loves him because he seemed miserable when he though he died. Of course Hermione bought a cat and the cat keeps trying to kill Scabbers. Speaking of the rat I had this question about the Marauder's Map for a very long time. How come Fred and George never noticed that Ron was sleeping with a guy named Peter Pettigrew? I feel like they would of spoken up if they noticed something.

Speaking of Pettigrew we learn that Sirius is innocent and did not kill Lily and James Potter and that Lupin is a werewolf. Pettigrew escapes and eventually Harry finds himself in the Hospital wing again. I swear in every book he always somehow manages to find his way to the hospital wing.

Harry and Hermione use the time turner to rescue Buckbeak and Sirius and Harry produced an amazing patronus.

Let's talk about Boggarts because why not. Neville's Boggart is professor Snape. What!? I know Snape is scary and hates Neville but still I am surprised that someone's fear is a teacher. I am glad the story about the Boggart dressed in Neville's grandmothers school spread throughout the school because it is hilarious and I love it. I also am not surprised that Ron's is a spider. I mean we saw him last year meeting the gigantic spider. Hermione's is actually McGonagall telling her she failed all her test. For some reason I am not surprised.

Hagrid is a professor at Hogwarts now and I could not have been more happy for him. He deserves the job. I also hate when Malfoy fakes his injury saying he broke his arm when in reality he only was scratched.

Basically I really enjoyed this book despite it being my least favourite in the series.

Halloween Book Tag

Since Halloween is approaching I thought I would do the Halloween Booktag. This tag was created by Naomi TheBookLover. I am excited to do this tag so lets begin. I will try not to answer Harry Potter for every question.


1. Carving pumpkins- what book would you carve up and light on fire?
I will admit I usually stay away from books I think I won't like and if I don't like it I 99% will DNF it. Maybe I'll go with the Cursed Child since it wasn't necessary. I did like it for what it was but it felt very different from the other books. I view it as a separate book and do not compare it to the rest of the series. 

2. Trick or treat- what character is a treat, what character is a trick?
The first character that comes to mind is Fred and George Weasley for a character that is a trick. Both of them are such pranksters and I love it.  For treat I am thinking of very nice characters, for this I will have to go with Cress from the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. I loved Cress and she is such a sweet and such a strong character.

3. Candy corn- what book is always sweet?
When I think of a book that is always sweet Harry Potter is always the first book that comes into my head. Other than Harry Potter the first boo that came to my mind is Geekerella by Ashley Poston. I read Geekerella recently and if you didn't know it is a modern day retelling of Cinderella with fandom in it. It was super cute and I loved it and I have a review up on my blog that if I remember, I'll link below.

4. Ghosts- what character would you love to visit you as a ghost?
I would love to have Will, Tessa, or Jem from the Infernal Devices trilogy to visit me as a ghost. Those three characters are the first characters that came into my head when reading this question. I I had to choose one I guess I will have to say Will Herondale.

5. Dressing up in costume- what character would you want to be for a day?
I honestly would love to be Celaena Sardothien from the Throne of glass series for a day. She is such a kick but character and she is one of my favourite characters.

6. Wizards and witches- what is your favorite Harry Potter moment?
This question is hard. I have so many favourite moments in the Harry Potter series. If I had to choose one it would be the scene when Harry first arrives at platform 9 3/4 in the first book. It was such a magical moment.

7. Blood and gore- what book was so creepy that you had to take a break from it for awhile?
The only book I can think of or this question is the Diviners by Libba Bray. I loved this book and it was one of my favourite books of 2015 or 2016. It is a perfect Halloween book and I highly recommend it.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Spoiler Review

Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets is a lot of people's least favourite in the series. I personally really love this one and it is probably my 4th favourite in the series.

Please keep in mind this review like the last one will be all over the place and I have so much to talk about I probably will forget to put some things in. Thinking back to my review of The Sorcerer's Stone I forgot at least 10 thing I wanted to talk about. So basically I will add on to my reviews each time I reread Harry Potter.

Lets talk about Dobby first. Dobby is first seen in Harry's room and warns him not to go to Hogwarts. Immediately we know this won't be a normal school year. Let's also say Dobby seems like he is trying to kill Harry. Okay maybe the blocking the platform won't kill Harry but setting a buldger on him probably will. At the end we learn that Dobby serves the Malfoy out of all the wizard families and I feel really bad for him. He is such a good elf and tries to help even though he is making Harry's life a lot harder. But Harry manages to free him and those were happy times and we will eventually learn that Dobby will work for Dumbledore in the kitchens.
The Weasley's have a ghoul living in their attic which we don't see in the movies. I just found that interesting and I always forget that they have this creature in their house. Harry of course if rescued by the twins and Ron in a flying car after Harry never responded to all of their letters (Dobby intersected the letters) and took him to the burrow. I love the de-gnoming the garden scene as well. Mr. Weasley comes home and Mrs. Weasley tells him that their sons flew the flying car. Mr. Weasley asks them how it was before seeing his wife's face.

Ron and Harry do fly the flying car once more to get to Hogwarts after Dobby blocked the platform. Out of all the trees they could of hit they had to hit the whomping willow. Of course we will learn why the whomping willow was planted their in the first place but it is not in this book so I'll save it for next review. Both receive detention for what they done and Ron a howler as well. I will admit that scene was funny event though it wasn't funny to Ron. Ron has to clean the trophy case the muggle way and Harry had to help Lockhart answer fan mail which brings us to Professor Lockhart.

I will admit I do not like professor Lockhart even though I like him a lot more than Umbridge. The trio firsts meets him in the books store and I could already tell Ron and Harry hated him. Hermione and Mrs. Weasley fancy him. Of course after the pixie incident during a defense against the dark arts class we quickly learn Lockhart has no idea what he was doing. We can also see that his first quiz had to do with him and not the actual subject. And of course we cannot forget about Valentines Day. I still think Hermione was one of the many people who sent Lockhart a valentine. I could quickly tell that none of the teachers also liked Lockhart and they seemed to find him annoying.

The first attack that starts the whole chamber of secrets opening was on Filch's cat. We also learn that Filch in a squib which is probably why he hate seeing all of these magical kids. Then of course the second attack on Colin Creevey followed by the Dueling club scene when Harry tells the snake not to attack Justin. Then we have the attack on Justin and Sir Nicholas and then Hermione and Percy's girlfriend Penelope Clearwater. Of course people though it the heir of Slytherin because he could talk to snakes. Then they quickly realized after Hermione was attacked that Harry couldn't have opened the chamber of secrets.

Hermione figured out that the monster was a basilisk and Harry and Ron will eventually figure out that the chamber is located in the girls bathroom where they brewed the polyjuice potion. Moaning Myrtle is a very important character in this book. Even though she can be annoying and kind off fancies Harry. She is the one that made them realize that the chamber is in the girls bathroom after they learn that the monster killed a girl 50 years ago in a bathroom and she is the one to tell them where she saw the monster or the eyes of the monster before she died.

Harry finds a diary in the bathroom as well and learns that it is Tom's old diary. I knew it was going to be important later on in the story. Harry figures out how it works later and we learn that they thought Hagrid opened the chamber. He didn't though. It was Tom/Voldemort. One of the big questions I had while reading this part is why would they allow Hargrid to stay on Hogwarts grounds if he is the one they thought let the monster loose. Even though they had very little evidence wouldn't they investigate further and why can't they just use a truth potion. That part didn't make sense. Follow the spiders is one of my all time favourite scenes. Just thinking about ron freaking out about spiders is so funny and it is all because Fred or George or both turned one of his stuffed animals (I think) into a spider. I mean if I saw a giant spider I would probably scream.

Lockhart looses his memory after trying to cast a memory charm on Ron and Harry using of course Ron's broken wand. I guess that was his punishment to himself. I sometimes forget Voldemort's real name or original name is Tom Riddle and sometimes need a reminder. I loved the part when Fawkes comes to Harry's rescue with the sorting hat and we learn that Harry is a true Gryffindor and is not a Slytherin no matter how much the Sorting Hat says he will do great in Slytherin. Harry is doing great in Gryffindor and that is what matter.

Overall I love this series and that is all or round one of my Chamber of Secrets review. Next time I reread this book will probably add to this review.

Hello everyone who HAS read this book. Harry Potter is one of my all time favourite series and I have been wanting to reread it again for awhile. The first book is the book I probably read the most. I think I have read it four times now.

I have a lot to talk about so this will be a long review. Also not in chronological order because I have quite a lot to say.

First of when I saw the first year shopping list I completely forgot that Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is actually a textbook. How could I forget that! It must be because of the FBAWTFT movie that threw me off a little. (Amazing movie if you haven't read it yet)

Harry of course doesn't get his letter from Hogwarts till Hagrid gives it to him later. Lets talk about when Harry tries to outsmart his uncle by waking up early and sneaking to the mail box and he steps on Mr. Dursley's face. I literally was laughing a lot. That scene was hilarious. I feel like small moments like these make the story even more amazing than it already is.

Harry meets Draco for the first time in Madam Malkin's and I remember hating Draco as soon as I finished the scene the first time I read the book. Draco was very mean in the first book if you don't remember. He used the leg locker curse on Neville and made fun of Ron's family and even tried to get them expelled by the midnight duel. I honestly wish that the midnight duel actually happened in the movie because I feel like that could of been an epic scene even though there is no fighting. Speaking of fighting, during Harry's a Quidditch match Ron, Neville, Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle get in a fight. I completely forgot about this scene. And of course how can we forget that Snape was the refree for one of the games. I remember being like are you kidding me the first time I ever read the book. Now we know the truth though I am kind of glad that Snape did ref the game.

I really loved the last part when the trio wen to go find the stone. I mean Hermione probably saved there life multiple times with the potion and of course the devil snare. It was so funny when Hermione said she didn't have wood to make a fire and Ron had to yell Are you a witch or not. I do wish that the potion scene made it into the movie though because that scene would of been interesting to watch. I guess not putting the scene in there probably made it seem more like Snape was stealing the stone.

In the very beginning Harry over heard Mrs. Wealsey tell give Fred and George a talk about pranks and says that she gets a letter telling her that they exploded a toilet seat (something like that) and one of the twins say we haven't done that yet thanks or the idea mom, I was smiling like an idiot. Now jump to the end. Dumbledore tells Harry when he wakes up that the sweets are from his friends and admirers and the twins tried to send him a toilet seat. I laughed out loud remembering Mrs. Weasley telling them not to do anything like that.

I you had to ask me what my favourite parts of the book are I would have to say the quidditch scenes. Quidditch is just so much fun to read about and they have so much action it it! The other scene would have to be the Christmas scene. It was so much fin to see Harry happy. They (the Weasley's and Harry) a snowball fight and Harry has presets for the first time. Mrs. Weasley even gave Harry a Weasley sweater! I always love that Ron's is Maroon. It is just funny watching him complain.

Overall those are just some of my thoughts on this book. I love this series and would highly recommend rereading it! Trust me it is so much fun to visit the world and characters again.

If you haven't heard of Because You Love to hate me is an anthology where 13 authors teamed up with 13 booktubers. Each author is paired up with a booktuber and the booktuber gives the author a writing prompt about a villain. I LOVED some of the stories but others I wanted to DNF.

The Blood of Imuriv by Renee Ahdieh

I really enjoyed this short story. I honestly wanted more from the world and I think that this could of been a full novel. There is so much to explore in this world. I was very disappointed when this story ended. I just wanted more. I did really enjoy Ahdieh's Wrath and the Dawn Duology but wasn't a big fan of The Flame in The Mist. I will say though is is one of my favourite stories in this Anthology.

I feel like the format of this story is what ruined this short story. This book is written through text messaging. I did read this story very quickly and I did understand what was going on so that was the good thing. Honestly if this was written differently it would probably be more enjoyable. Also there is no text talk so that is a plus.

I wasn't that interested in the beginning of this story. By the time I was interested I was confused since I did skim most of the the first half. I may go back to reread it but as for now I will leave my rating at 2.5 stars. I also never heard of Sarah Enni before.

I loved this story. It is my favourite out of all of them. I loved the writing and was interested in the story since the first page. It was just everything I wanted. It is so hard to explain why.

Beautiful Venom by Cindy Pon

I never heard of Cindy Pon and need to add her books to my tbr. I also thought that Benjamin's essay in very important as well and if you plan on skipping the booktubers essays I would recommend reading this one over all of them. Back to the short story. I liked that it had an Asian setting and it was very unique from anything I ever read. The writing was also really good.

I never read anything by Samantha Shannon before and need to add her series the Bone Season to my TBR. I found this story very interesting and I wanted to know what happened. I also think that this world could be explored more and I want a full novel in this world. I would say the beginning was a little confusing to me but overall I really liked it.

I never was really interested in reading Andrew Smith's other book but that has now changed and I want to read all of his books. I surprising loved this story. It was interesting, the writing was really good. This was honestly a surprise because I didn't think I would like this story as much as I did.

I never heard or read anything by this author. I did enjoy it but some parts are very confusing. I still am confused. I think it is because it needed more explanations.

It took me a bit to understand what was going on but the story eventually pieced together and I loved it. It was unique and I loved the way it was written. Overall a very solid short story. I do want to see what happens next.

Frostblood Review

I went into this book with low expectation and I honestly enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Keep in mind this book is not the most original book in the world and can be very predictable.

This books is a fantasy novel and it is told in first person. We follow the main character Ruby's POV. If you hate when books change perspectives you are in luck since we only have one POV in this book! Ruby is a fireblood living in a world ruled by a frostblood king. Her mother is killed and she is taken to the prison. She then escapes with the help of some rebel frostbloods and agrees to help them overthrow the king.

The first 50 pages were really good. Then the rest of the first half was very boring. Nothing happened. I almost DNFed the book so many times but kept pushing through hoping it would get better because I absolutely hate DNFing books. I am so glad I pushed myself through the rest of the first half because the second half of the book is SO much better.

If you hate contemporary books and need a fantasy book to help you out of a reading slump you may want to try reading Frostblood. The world and magic system was very easy to understand and it is a short book.

Keep in mind that this book is very predictable. I did predict several things that happened.

Overall I enjoyed the book it was just very average.
